We have a small number of customised Standard JagBags available. We made these to order in Scotland and the customer requested that we didn't sew up the side seams from top to bottom but that we stopped approximately 50cm/19ins from the top. We never asked why, we just followed their instructions. Sewing the seams like this left two 'flaps' of silk, hopefully the pictures and drawing will show this better than I can describe it!
The JagBag is usable like this but I think your neck and shoulders could get a bit cold as the flaps will move as you turn and expose your skin. The solution would to sew up one or both of the seams. This would leave the top of the JagBag open for you to slide in and out of. It's not a difficult job if your handy with a needle and thread, if your not then any alteration shop should be able to do it quite reasonably. Sadly we can't offer this service.
Apart from this blip there’s nothing wrong with the JagBags. All the liners have been hand dyed and there are natural variations in shade and colour saturation. We’ll supply a matching slk stuff sack where possible and substitute a white/other colour if the matching one isn't available.
These JagBags are made from our normal grade of Endura Silk so they offer a good combination of durability and comfort. Because each JagBag is individually handmade all sizes and weights are approximate - one of the joys of using real humans to make things rather than automated cutting machines!
The price of these customised JagBags is £18 plus £5 for 1st class, tracked UK postage. Delivery to non UK addresses will be calculated at checkout.
