JagBag Silk Beach Wraps and Scarves
JagBag silk sleeping bag liners have long been popular with discerning travelers for over 20 years. Made in New Zealand by skilled seamstresses, these liners were beautifully sewn despite the challenge of working with slippery silk! Each liner was hand-dyed in vibrant colours, using blended dyes for unique shades and effects.
Factors such as air temperature, dye bath temperature, humidity, and dye age all combined to make each batch unique. Every dye session produced JagBags with unique one-of-a-kind patterns, from marble lines to swirling shades - sometimes even hinting at shapes or even faces.
A while ago we decided to make a batch of beach wraps and scarves the same way we made JagBags - using high quality habotai silk expertly sewn and the same dye process and colours. We made 3 sizes:-
- Large (185 x 85cm)
- Medium (170 x 40cm)
- Small (145 x 40cm)
And we used 6 colour patterns:-
- Blue
- Cerise
- Midnight
- Paua
- Sunburst
- Turquoise
- Violet
As I plan to retire soon, these wraps and scarves are one-of-a-kind and once sold, they're gone! Get in quick if you'd like one (or more!)
